About

The Tenshin Dojo in Osaka, founded in the early 1970s by the Fujitani family with a young Steven Seagal as dojo-cho — the dojo behind Seagal's claim to be the first foreigner to run an aikido dojo in Japan. For over forty years it has been led by Miyako Fujitani Shihan (7th Dan Aikikai), one of the world's few female seventh dan holders, and is regarded as one of Osaka's most respected aikido dojos.
