ATAGO (Associazione Takemusu Aiki Giorgio Oscari) — the Modena honbu of a network of about 19 dojos across Italy and Germany, founded in 2007 by Giorgio Oscari Shihan to continue Takemusu Aiki as transmitted by Morihiro Saito Sensei. Named after Mount Atago near Iwama, where O-Sensei used to go to pray and meditate. The club traces its roots to Aikido Club Modena, established by Giorgio Oscari in 1980, where hundreds of black belts were trained. Today it is run together with his son Michelangelo Oscari, and offers uchideshi (live-in) training stays. The dojo is authorized by the Aikikai Hombu to award Aikikai grades.
